Outreach

The Mission spreads Christ’s love in many ways and through many hands. We host several events that encourage and support those in need by building relationships, offering engaging activities, and ministering Christ’s love.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing, some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

Hebrews 13:1-2

HOT SHOWERS

Mondays & Fridays: 1:30 – 4pm

Living Water Shower Ministry brings their mobile hot showers to the Mission parking lot every Monday and Friday afternoon. They also offer free haircuts and toiletries to guests.

Aside from providing health and hygienic care, showering restores dignity and helps those we serve to feel better about themselves. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Carol Switzer
Rescued Treasures Coordinator

Carol empowers the volunteers in Rescued Treasures. Together, they provide clothing people need for themselves and their families. Carol also runs Crossed Bridges with her husband Jonathan. She enjoys playing any sport with a ball, crocheting, bike riding, and spending time with her husband and five children.

“He who loves God must love his brother also.” (1 John 4:21) explains what wakes Carol up in the morning to begin a new day; being able to serve the Lord while working with people, whether it be administratively or relationally. She loves hearing the testimonies of how Jesus has changed people’s lives, especially because He’s done so much for her!
