Non-Cash Donation

The Frederick Rescue Mission accepts donations including food, clothing, hygiene items, and occasionally other items to bless men, women, and children in the community who have a need. Click Here for current needs.

When you donate gently used coats, clothing, shoes, and other small items like sleeping bags or linens to the Mission’s Rescued Treasures program, those items are then given away to the men of our Changed Life Recovery Program, the women and children of Faith House or those who are homeless or in need.

The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

Donating clothing, shoes, and textiles:

If you would like to donate to the Rescued Treasures program and you would like a donation receipt, you can drop off clothing, shoes, and textiles at our office located at 419 West South Street in Downtown Frederick, Monday – Friday (9am – 4pm).

If a receipt is not needed, we have numerous “blue bins”, located strategically throughout Frederick County, as well as on our South Street campus, where you can drop donations. Our bins are identified easily by the bright blue color and Mission’s lighthouse logo. Click here For a list of locations.

We are blessed to give freely because you do.

At the Mission, every program and service are driven by the desire to introduce people to Jesus Christ. Our method includes meeting basic human needs and equipping others to do the same.
