Giving Tuesday offers chance to benefit local charities

Local charities are preparing for their Giving Tuesday campaigns on one of the nation’s largest fundraising days.

More than 100 nonprofits in Frederick County are looking to benefit from the day. Groups such as the United Way of Frederick County, the Frederick Rescue Mission and Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County are among those using donation matches to increase the impact of donors.
