Cook Steps Away From Frederick Rescue Mission after serving 1.2 million meals..

This week marked the end of a culinary era at the Frederick Rescue Mission as longtime cook Andy Anderson stepped away from his role as kitchen manager.

Anderson cooked more than 1.2 million meals for visitors to the mission’s dining hall since he started in 2009. He said he felt called to the mission.
