There are hundreds of homeless children in Frederick County. Your donation will help lift them out of poverty. Be their hero. Please donate NOW.

Natasha pulled out all her beautiful, long, blond hair. Her mental illness resulted from years of addiction, and now she was homeless with two young children. Because of neighbors like you, she found a safe place they could go – Faith House, a shelter for women and children.

“I had nowhere to go, but they welcomed us,” Natasha said, after wondering where she and her two boys would spend the Holidays. “Faith House has become my family,” Natasha said, praising the compassionate staff who helped her get a job, replace her identification documents, and manage her money. Natasha’s life is back on track because of compassionate partners like you.

Natasha has been sober long-term, and she and her two boys are now in an apartment of their own. She is working on a college degree where she can help other women experience the peace that people like you provided for her.

Because of support from our community, Faith House is more than a house. The wrap-around care first meets women’s physical needs and then enables them to heal from trauma, continue recovery from substance abuse, and work towards the goal of safe, suitable housing.

By supporting this shelter, you can meet life-changing needs like those of Natasha’s family. We hope that you will step up by making a gift to help. Just $50 will shelter one woman or child for the day.

Rescued Treasures Coordinator

Carol empowers the volunteers in Rescued Treasures. Together, they provide clothing people need for themselves and their families. Carol also runs Crossed Bridges with her husband Jonathan. She enjoys playing any sport with a ball, crocheting, bike riding, and spending time with her husband and five children.

“He who loves God must love his brother also.” (1 John 4:21) explains what wakes Carol up in the morning to begin a new day; being able to serve the Lord while working with people, whether it be administratively or relationally. She loves hearing the testimonies of how Jesus has changed people’s lives, especially because He’s done so much for her!
